The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

I am sorry for not keeping in touch! But I am checking your blog sometime. And I love this composition and atmosphere!
Thanks a bunch, Ting! Oh, and I’m reading that Peregrine book I emailed you about. Very beautiful, see if you can find a copy.
One of my favorite Sandburg poems.
It’s the first poem I ever remember reading, and still one of my favorites. I’ve come to love it more and more over the years.
Hi! Just saw your work in the blaine.org blog. I’m in the MA in Cambridge now and Martin sent it to us to take a look at your work. I’m working with watercolours too but not to this level of realism or colour choices… I’m still sort of looking for a comfortable place with them! Love your work – especially this one and the one with the turtle coming out of the book. Found them especially inspirational :) best of luck!
