Now, I can understand that this would be exciting news for many of you whose interest in paraphernalia associated with teen detective work is limited. But personally, I'm not only going to miss sharing work from my former job, but also revisiting illustrations I haven't seen in a long time. I'm still proud of the work I did at Her Interactive; my job was to make the game world as believable and interesting as possible, and I did my best in that endeavor. Creating environment concepts, textures, and other 2-D artwork also greatly expanded my capabilities as an artist, allowing me access to a larger repertoire of styles than I thought I could possibly possess. And my co-workers were awesome, and the view from my window let me birdwatch all day, etc. etc. Good times.
Anyway, here are some concept illustrations of the Oklahoma Museum in Trail of the Twister. Thanks for indulging these quasi-weekly strolls down memory lane; there's still a few more pieces to share, including some of my favorite work I've done EVER ANYWHERE.
So stay tuned!
