Oh yeah, Monday Sketcharoo! HOO-ahhhhh! Just thought I’d share with you guys a little drawing I made on my iPhone using an app called Layers. Ever since a New Yorker cartoonist drew a cover for the magazine using an app called Brushes, everyone’s been interested in the art-making possibilities of Apple’s wunderobjekt. Unfortunately, the results of most of the experiments with the various painting apps have, in my overly-active opinion, been a little underwhelming. BUT! I recently came across a couple of illustrators (here & here) that inspired me to bust my iPhone out and give it a whirl. It’s not career-defining work or anything, but I like it. And for Pete’s sake, I drew it with my FINGER.
