I think after Rambo tourism surpassed logging as the main source of economy in the town. If ever the notion of Hollywood North were personified, it would be Hope. Note of interest: Stakeout, with Emilio Estevez and Richard Dreyfuss was filmed in my hometown of Chilliwack, B.C. But, alas, no tourist windfalls.
